The agreement governs
This website is a general description of what Precision Billing, LLC offers. It is not a contract. The services provided to a client are defined only by the signed Billing and Collection Services Agreement, the Business Associate Agreement, and any written scope of work or amendment. If this website and those documents differ, the documents control.
No guaranteed outcomes
Precision Billing does not guarantee any financial outcome, collection percentage, denial rate, reimbursement amount, audit result, arbitration or IDR determination, payer-panel acceptance or credentialing approval. Outcomes depend on payer policy, fee schedules, the patient's plan, the clinical documentation the provider supplies, the decision of the arbitrator or IDR entity, and federal and state regulation. None of these is within the firm's control.
Advisory and non-legal
Coding, auditing, compliance, credentialing, claim negotiation, IDR, arbitration and litigation-support work is advisory and non-legal. Final coding decisions and clinical documentation remain the responsibility of the treating provider. Precision Billing is not a law firm, an accounting firm or an investment adviser. Where a matter requires legal representation, the firm works in a non-attorney capacity, in coordination with the client's chosen counsel.
Descriptions are illustrative
Service descriptions and examples on this website are illustrative. Figures in any example are invented for illustration and contain no patient or client data. Actual scope varies with the client's specialty, payer mix and volume, and with regulatory or payer-policy changes during the engagement.
Rules change
Billing, coding, credentialing, compliance and dispute-resolution rules change continuously. Anything stated here or in Precision News reflects the source as of the date shown and may have been superseded. Check the linked source for the current version.
No patient information through this site
The forms on this website collect business contact details only. Do not send patient names, dates of birth, member IDs, claim numbers or records through this website or by ordinary email.
Software
References to Rook, Tyro or any other Precision Billing software are for information only. They grant no license or right of access except as expressly provided in a signed agreement.
